Looking at the fitch all 6 idlers are the same. I always thought the inside wheels were different, since there have been problems with them. Is the fitch correct?

I'm going with the accessory wheels. I know these wheels have a wider bearing, and need a longer bolt, and I've heard people talk about machining the mount. Is that necessary?

All 6 wheels are the same. Are you sure the accessory wheels have the 6205 bearing? I thought the accessory wheels had replacable bearings of the same width as OEM.

If you buy the SMA-8EK38-01 style you will have to machine the mounts. If you don't the wheel will rub the drive cogs on the track. I changed the inner wheels to this wheel last year and while I did get 2,000+ miles out of them they were starting to show some wear. Since I machined the holder I know have to maintain the same bearing size (or shim the bearing). Since most of the other wheels on my skid now need bearings (the stocks are non-replaceable) I decided to try the Spoked style on these, similar price but no machining needed pluse much lighter, they look cool (much better in person then in the pic) and they may let more snow through. Don't know about the durability but others on here have had good luch with them. I would give them a shot first. It's only two wheels.
