I am in the process of installing a new fully clipped Cobra track. I just noticed there is no arrow to mark for proper rotation. I attached a photo from tracksusa. I am guessing to put the center lug in direction of the cupped side. In the photo it would be a right to left direction of rotation.

Any thoughts?

Hmm.......this picture is from a Cobra Track review on snowmobile.com and now it looks like it goes the other way according to the outside lugs.

Do you suppose there is no correct way? Maybe Camoplast designed this for running either direction depending what type of riding you do........otherwise why not put the direction arrow on it like they normally do?

Mine has an arrow on it. It's very small, opposite side of the Camoplast logo on the track.
It says "High Performance Trail" in the spot where the arrow is.

We had two sets of eyes on it. The weird thing is I had a NON fully clipped one that I sold and it was marked. This one has an area that looks like it should have a logo or stamping that is muddied or smeared like a blem..........but no mark on it. Maybe that's why it was cheaper. I bought it new on ebay from a seller in Wisconsin..........kensports I believe.

Very small arrow in the center of the track.

I checked again (with a flashlight) and there is no mark on this track. No marking at all other than the smeared label as mentioned. I am going to install as per the photo on the TNT I attached. I got a feeling this was a manufacturing blem.

I just looked at mine. It looks the same as the picture you posted. You'll be fine.

Thanks!!

As one who couldn't find the arrow until finishing up the install the first time, I can tell you there IS an arrow... It would be the one I found pointed the wrong way... resulting in the opportunity to see how quickly one could change a track the second time.

It's not in the normal place. Try the outside belts.

It's a VERY directional track.

I was talking with a friend at work today about this track. Being there are NO markings on this track......you don't suppose the Chinese are copying these too?

You mean they don,t know how to translate the arrow symbol ? LoL

Well usually all the Camolast tracks I have had have something written on them.
