Installing A Thether Switch?

The directions on the box say splice into the black wire. Well there is no black wire. Just wondering if someone could tell me which wire to splice into. There is a red, red-white, brown, brown-white. I am trying to get ready for hillcross at Spirit MT in duluth. Thanks

As I recall, I cut the brown/white wire in two and spliced my teather switch wires into it. I don't think it matters if you use the brown or brn/wht.

do a search in this (fx nytro) forum, srxspec did an install article with pictures on how to do this last fall. i used it to install ours, worked well. ski

I just did it down in the connector under the hood... That way the kill button was not working and therewas no risk of killing the sled in a jump etc...
