Sorta interesting article or at least the first few questions/answers. Seems like this engine was always suppose to be in this chassis from the get go. If I'm understanding this correctly. Kinda cool.. What do you think?

Makes you wonder what is planned for the future NOW?

I remember reading how the 3 cylinder 4 stroke 1049 was designed and built by Yamaha specifically for snowmobiles with specific design and execution for sleds- power and torque right were sleds need it.

Here we are what 6-8 years later and 2 of 4 manufacturers have multiple trail sleds based on this 1049 4 stroke loved by trail and trail performance sledders.

Design success? YES

I some what fear the expense but look forward to the rides!

I always thought that there was no way the big Genesis just happened to fit in a procross chassis and worked as well as it did especially after my demo ride. Seems it was in the cards from the beginning, very interesting
