In some of the new magazine ads coming out from Skidoo, they are comparing the 1200 4tec to the Vector instead of the Nytro. In the new ads they are comparing fuel capacity, mileage, weight, etc. Seems though that a lot of people including myself try to compare it to the Nytro due to the 130-135HP engine. Do you think this vehicle is a new crossover type (Not quite a hard riding bump machine like the Nytro, and not quite the Cadillac lake racer like the Apex), or is it just a way for them to get their feet wet in the 4 stroke market?
We all know you can take magazines with a grain of salt, but I found this article from a while back, and found it interesting. http://www.snowmobile.com/manufacturers ... r-652.html
This is not a bashing thread to see if this sled is good or not, or which brand is better. We all have our opinions on this, and don't really care. Just doesn't seem that one machine can be an all in one model? If so Yamaha would of stopped with a Apex RTX, and said this does it all. I think this is interesting since it is the only competition, or threat to date to the Yamaha 4 strokes. IMO which is worth nothing
