read that site years ago. lots of people believe his breakin methods but what about his intake mods. i asked about filling in the ports years ago on this site and no one had done it, wonder if anyone ever has. what most often happens with new sleds is the start of the season dosent allow you to ride it the way it should be due to lack of snow or ice. ideally the motor should be loaded and unloaded, wound up and unwound, cycled through the rpm range but the first rides of the year dont always offer the conditions to do this. there are people on this site that have done the break in by the book with great results, as well as his methods with great results. the manufacture has to to take the safe route, they cant tell you to jump on a brand new sled and drive it like you stole it, as all these sleds will do 100 plus mph and can kill you quick. i would like to hear about his modded intake from someone with results. most performance shops do the opposite.
