Arctic Cat said today that it has entered into an agreement to transition its snowmobile engine manufacturing from Suzuki Motor Corp. It plans to begin making some of its own engines in St. Cloud, Minn., after the 2014 model year.
I would guess they will be making their own 2 strokes and Yamaha will be making their 4 strokes after 2014.

Or it could just mean that the engines will be "assembled" by AC since Suzuki agreed to supply the parts.

From what I have read their deal with Suzuki was paid out, If I remember correctly after 2014 they will no longer supply arctic cat, but with so many write ups who do we believe.

the parts seem to be for past sleds / engines, not future engines

"Suzuki will continue to supply Arctic Cat with engine parts to service existing engines after the 2014 model year."
I take this to mean Suzuki is done, except for replacement parts

If you go to the Cat site and look at thier new 600 it looks very Suzuki. I would almost suspect under licence from Suzuki. Ihope they do a better job of building thier own motor than the other US manufacturer with thier Briggs & Scrapiron motors.
We can't aford to lose any manufacturers or we will all lose.

My prediction. 2015 model year: Arctic Cat 4 strokes all Yamaha engines and 2 strokes all made by Cat.
Please Arctic Cat, turbo the Apex engine.
