I have 25" mudlites on a 04 400 kodiak, I want a little more out of this machine for trail riding on the snow in Central WI South east section of marathon to be excat. Do I want to add a clutch kit or do I just clean it up a bit with a carb kit? Or do I do both with a Fix Powersports kit. Thanks Stosh

Hey Stosh
I saw no one answered this for you so I thought I'd post my opinion. The stock tire size on your quad is 25" if I'm not mistaken. Therefore a clutch kit won't really be necessary because you haven't changed the gearing of the bike, and the mudlites are pretty lite so your rotating mass hasn't changed much. If you're looking for the most bang for your buck, I'd suggest jetting to suit your altitude and maybe an aftermarket pipe.
Just my thoughts
Ian
