dealer has told me it's not recommended to put cooler on attak when you have studs.
is this a problem for others out there ? dealer says they fixed 3 last year with stud damage.
i'm runnin stock track with 1.375 studs.
any input ?

Well, There are threads here where members have modified their protectors to extend past the rear cooler.
You also could purchase an aftermarket u cooler and mount to the stock extension with not issues as these are only .5" thick.
Just curious why you would install an extra cooler on a pretty much stock sled? I installed one on mine but I run a supercharger. I never had any issues with my Attak when it was stock with cooling.

i have overheated a few times in marginal snow & spring conditions.
also on the lakes in ice conditions.
i have done alot of reading on this site & seen guys installing just to be safe.
just thought it would be added insurance. also good time of year to do mods. i do have to check to confirm antifreeze is correct mixture.
your thoughts are the attaka do not require one ?

I recommend adding the rear cooler for a couple reasons: additional cooling when the snow conditions aren't favorable and totally eliminating any ice build up on the back.
Even if the snow conditions are great, super cold temps and running smooth trails are a precursor to having overheating issues. You'll build up an ice dam between the front exchanger and the track and you'll overheat. Adding the rear cooler will due away with this potential problem. In any running conditions, the snow will build up in the back without the cooler and freeze; adding an extraodinary amount of weight. The rear cooler all but eliminates this problem.
You'll need to add your own protectors if you're studding. There are several posts on here that explain how to do it.

no cooler needed...
dilute the pure mix in your sled.....
Incidentely, I run engine ice....drops temps 40 degrees...but only freeze protects to 30 below....My fan never comes on even running in the off season in the driveway at 60 degrees!

I sent you a PM. You can see mine in the link below in my Signature. Mine is over sized, but I did that due to my Supercharger and future mods, plus I plan to start drag racing this beast someday. lol
