Just looking into possibly getting a used bike, never had one or a licence. Anyone know a good forum to ask questions in. I am looking at an 05 Yamaha FZ6 I think it is, sport touring model and I know nothing about bikes. Thanks.

There are a huge amount of guys who ride Yamaha bikes in the summer that are members here. They may be able to answer any questions you have or steer you to a bike site.
Not sure if the General Yamaha Forum is the place to post those questions but I do see a lot of bike postings in the summer in this forum seems to be no complaints. The Lounge would be maybe better for none Sled related questions! Ask away!

Great bike!Is what is called a standard nowadays.Should keep you happy powerwise for many years to come.I see alot of firsttimers buying bikes that are underpowered.Is safest thing to do but who can afford getting another bike in less than a year because you are sick of anemic power.That wont happen with the 6.New ones even seat height is adjustable and it has a fairly upright position so its comfortable.About only thing that you will probably end up wanting if you ride alot is a full windshield which really isnt a option on the fz.
