We just changed the slides on the Rx had it on its side for a little bit of time, I know they do not start right back up when up right again. But this thing will just not start sounds like it wants to but it wont. Is there a trick or something that helps. We checked the plugs cleaned them up still nothing. Were gonna let it sit for alittle bit and see what happens then, but were stumped shoulndt take this long to get gas back into the carbs if they drain out, or burn it out if it was flooded with the gas valves off.

if the plugs were dry, remove tank vent line and blow into it, this will fill your carbs. if plugs were wet, turn engine a few seconds with plugs removed, give it some time to dry out, reinstall plugs, and it should fire. good luck.

cup your hands around the gas tank(fill spout ) and blow like hell. This also works if the sled has sat for awhile without being started.

Don't forget to hit kill switch before cranking with plugs out. I'm not sure if the starter works with the kill switch off. If it doesn't, hook the plugs up, and lay them on the head for a ground. Cranking with no plugs hooked up will damage the CDI.

If you have wet plugs and can´t start your engine the trick is to give it full throttle and crank it til it starts, and remember to let of the throttle as soon as it starts or else you know what!

You open the throttle if the engine is flooded.
Flooded = too much gas. More gas needs more air. Works every time. Also, when doing that, do NOT choke, otherwise it just gets worse.

Anyone think it maybee the TORS? the lil switch on the throttle stop that needs to be adjusted properly for the sled to run? It may be this that causes grief...

TORS will allow the sled to start, it just wont' allow it to rev past 2500 rpm. I'd replace the plugs, sounds like they're fouled. I've had this happen plenty of times. I now take the plugs out right away when I know I'm going to tip the sled on the side!

Yeah, that is one thing to remember from 2-stroke experience. Oil does bad things to spark plugs. Putting sled on its side can cause oil to go where you don't want it.
