Something doesn't feel right with my sled after adding the clutch kit/header/intake/cobra track/ PC5.

At first I thought the clutch felt squishy, so Allen told me to add a washer to the heel. Now it doesn't feel as squishy, but when I nail it, it doesn't exacly feel like its pulling that fast. I thought I felt something slipping/catching when I get on it, but not sure. Also part throttle doesn't feel as strong/jumpy as before all the mods. I'm trying to run through what could be causing it.

I need to find a field so I can stare at RPM's when I play with the throttle. all I've been on is the trail and I don't dare stare at the tach for long. I did notice when I get on it hard rpms are right around 8900

Maybe the clutch isn't dialed in? Or maybe the track is too tight. I don't think its the PCV,header,intake...

I seam to remember seeing 9xxx right as I jump on it. When it felt like it was slipping I was going to fast to take my eyes off the trail to watch the tach.

Make sure you have the secondary spring installed correctly. Should be 6-1 setting and then when you install the spring also make sure you wind it clockwise to line up the holes on the helix with the studs in the secondary.

It's too bad you did all those mods at the same time. It makes it difficult to pinpoint the cause.

Maybe you can remove/disconnect certain/all mods, run the sled and add/reconnect one mod at a time to determine where the fault lies in your setup.

I'll double check on the secondary when I go up and ride it this weekend. Its probably the last weekend of the season, so I'll take it home and check for any assembly errors

I haven't had the secondary apart but I got a chance to look at rpms. This past weekend some times it would haul, other times it would not. When it felt like a dog, the rpms wouldn't climb and the motor sounded like it was working/lugging. Could that be the secondary sticking?
