Good day guys . I am looking for some help .I converter my rx1 turbo to a midmount turbo setup and now I’m having some issues . It’s sputters and misses when I get on the throttle . Use to be a powderlites kit but only thing from that kit is the intercooler. This is what I’ve done to sled . Midmount turbo with a machined 2860 turbo with a billet 3071 wheel and a custom made header . The filter goes on the left side and exhaust out the right side when sitting on sled . I also took the restricter plate off from the inside of my powderlites intercooler.How are you guys plumbing your vacuum lines . I’m thinking my slides aren’t getting proper vacuum . I’m also using the hurricane turbo springs . Should I put stock springs back in . Carb springs that is . Thanks for any help

Hey fern you wanna sell your double down pipe off your other kit or you sell it already lol. Hope you get that thing worked out wAnna see it in action at the drags.

Still have it . Gonna keep it . Might go back to other setup if I can’t get this setup to work .Im thinking my issues are carb issues with float signals. Has to be other ways to plumb the vacuum to intercooler and carbs .

Do you have the carbs hooked up to the intercooler ? It takes boost pressure to open the slides when it's turboed.

Yup . I have carbs hooked up like it was before . I’ve heard good and bad things about these hurricane turbo springs . I’m gonna put the stock ones back on and see if that helps . Thanks

Well I tore more into the sled and my issue is my header is cracked . It’s getting repaired and I’ll put it back on . I also jetted the sled up as the boost is going up also.I took the hurricane turbo springs off and put stock ones back one also . Went to 3/8 vaccum line and tees also . My job for tommorrow to install header and get sled running again .
