Jack Shaft Bearing Replacement

You can find assembly drawings on the Yamaha website. Does it have an o-ring inside it like parts 40/41?

that's not it, I didn't have the lower shaft out. I have looked at that microfiche and can't for the life of me figure out where it belongs. I guess I will have to take it apart after work again!!!

On the top shaft there was a spacer and washer that came off when I removed the jack shaft, I put these back in place when I re-installed, does this extra spacer I have go in the case side maybe before the top gear goes back on??
 
Here is a section view from the owner's manual. Is it the part that C1 is pointing to?

Thanks for the help, I actually think it is #27 in the diagram. Got to take it all apart and check it out.
