How does one take out the jackshaft clutch side bearing ? Do you just remove the circlip and pound it out or is there something i'm missing ? This is on a Apex. They are all the same.

Not sure, but there might be two T-15 set screws on the inner bearing collar on the tunnel side. You should be able to see this if you look up inside your tunnel up by the track driver wheels. Like I said, I could be wrong. I am assuming you are talking about the bearing on the speedo/clutch side.

Yep, two set screws on the inside. Plus, you may have corosion on the shaft............

I think he was talking about the Jackshaft versus the Driveshaft. This thread may help a bit.
I think the the Apex may have the same setup as the RX. The RX does not have set screws on the Jackshaft. Here is the procedure.
By the way, if the bearing is still good, you can remove the secondary and then remove the Jackshaft bearing's dust seal and get a good repack while it is still installed. Use a jeweler's screwdriver and be careful. The seal pops right out. It can be fairly difficult to get the bearing off the shaft. You may have to remove the shaft and press the bearing off.
