I bought a RX1 that needed jackshaft bearings and it was all torn apart not sure if I got the shims in the right place plus its the 2003 so it don't have the locking collar behind the secondary do I need this for the new bearing? Bought all ballz bearings. I need a form or would like some pic to show where all the shims/washers go. got it together but don't think its right seem ok but reverse grinds now. so maybe I didn't put it together right?Any help at this point would be great

You don't need the locking collar but it is a good time to change over to that style. In the Tech section you can find step by step instructions and pictures for RX-1 reverse install, have you checked there? Usually when reverse grinds it is the linkage adjustment- very sensitive.

Thanks for the reply..I took a look but it don't show where all the shims/washers go. This sled was in pieces when I got it. I had one large shim/washer that I put in but not sure it was in the right spot

Did you try going to a web site like HLSM.com and look up the parts for your sled. There will be an exploded diagram showing all the parts in side the chain case and the order they go in.

X2 to what roadrunner and maim said about the oem parts finder. The exploded veiws they provide are a real asset to see where things go. Use them all the time.
