when you guys put air filters on rx1s I know you change the main jets but does anyone change any of the other jets?
 
LOL..some have to drop needles too, but really the best bet is to start with 165 jets and go from there. My kit had 170's and was way too rich, but now that it's down to 165's and needles dropped a notch everything is good...you wil love the sound!

Well........I wouldn't say that quite yet....I still can't get my max rpm's up, and it seems clutching isn't the issue..so back to carbs. I am guessing now it's leaking carb boots or something minor...but we'll see .
 
Just take some carb cleaner and do this outside for the risk of fire. Spray around where the manifolds meet the cylinder head and where the carbs plug into the manifolds. Use high temp silicone (Permatex) to seal them.
