Awesome. Glad to know I'm not the only "special kind of crazy" one that travels pretty far for the snow. My wife's family has a place in the eastern Yoop so I have just been going there for about 10 years now. Did paradise to copper harbor and back this year(right around 1,000 miles) As you can see, thinking Canada next year.grew up allison park, gibsonia but ran and lived all over in teens and married northside gal. have kin in cecil. family still there in gibsonia, hers in bellevue/pitts, but i left '79. ride in moosehead area. or occasionally chautauqua ny. no trails here but very rural farmland, mostly dirt roads that are my trails in the winter. did upper ON last winter, i like the very remote.

canada is a great time! lots of wildlife too. i stayed in cochrane. had a younger couple stop in one night on 121" doo sleds, they had 1600 miles in 4 days and were lookin at 2700miles for their week long backpack trip. good trails, 2-300 is an easy day. very remote north and west of there. only had a trail pass for ontario myself. just got the hall pass here to head to rockwood maine whenever. so probably end of next week, or if weather holds the following week. guy quit at work monday to move to washington st and put a slight hurtin on my annual plans.Awesome. I drive from Maryland to Quebec as often as life allows. Rare is the trip the sleds get more miles than the truck.Awesome. Yes!!!!! I'm not the only one that puts More miles on the truck most trips. (Last what I did 1,300 on the sled one trip and 1,250 on the truck, only time that's happened)I drive from Maryland to Quebec as often as life allows. Rare is the trip the sleds get more miles than the truck.

Hi LouTurbo... Same here, just off Aberdeen lol... I think the guys want to drive up march 1st and leave from Elliot lake march 2nd and ride towards halfway haven to dooberville to chapeau and back to elliot lake, won't be as big of a trip as our last one a few weeks ago...Fabio - My bud (also Sidewinder) and I are dropping in Timmins, or Sault Ste. Fabio - no kidding, I'm off Chancellor, probably a few blocks from you. Not sure how twisty it gets through Chapleau. Today I was looking at Elliot Lake also to cut driving distance, would like more mileage on the trails than on the highway .

Lou it's a good run from Elliot to halfway, over 400km, if your going that way, we decided to start at Elliot lake to bypass the southern areas like espanola and west of there do to the low snow conditions we encountered there a few weeks ago.. have you been to halfway before ?Fabio - no kidding, I'm off Chancellor, probably a few blocks from you. Hey Louturbo... if I may... Consider a full days ride on the C101D Timmins to Chapleu and be sure to fill up gas in Foylet. It is an amazing trail when in tip top shape but it is pretty much a full days ride.
