I'm thinking if you're that tall any sled will feel short. I like the ergos on my Winder but I also like the ergos on the 900t as long as it doesn't have that crappy narrow 2 stroke seat on it.If your taller than 6' 4" and you sit on that Minni Z (900t) your #*$&@ is hanging off the back of the seat so your not smashing your knees on the hood. Cockpit is too short.

Wow,3 mph is not a lot to separate these two, hope the srx gets better with break in miles, and it already had 100 miles on it! Is the doo a lot lighter feeling vrs the srx?Put on 100 miles today in 1 to 2 feet of powder wih a 6" hard crust base. Ran with my buddy who took my new 900 ace turbo and we swapped back and forth trying each sled. Some fun comparisons:
SRX ran out of fuel at 76 miles and Doo ran out at 91 miles. Both sleds broke trail all day as we ran side by side on a woods road.
SRX is like a boat. Once it is up on plane it drives by the Doo. SRX in the powder is 5 to 8mph faster than the Doo.
In out tracks on the way back we managed 103mph on the SRX and 99mph on the Doo.
Of note is both sleds are bone stock and when we left the 900t had 0 miles on it and SRX had 101miles on the clock. Both are nice sleds but are distinctly different for sure!
More comparisons to come...
Before you say that have you ever weighed one I have and I think you will eat your words. I’ve also weighed the 900 doo and the doo boys are in for a shock.Dan you and I have owned lots of sleds over the years and there is no way any Winder weighs under 600lbs dry. Maybe on the moon?

In loose powder it is, run them on normal trail conditions and that number is going to climbWow,3 mph is not a lot to separate these two, hope the srx gets better with break in miles, and it already had 100 miles on it! Is the doo a lot lighter feeling vrs the srx?

Sounds about right.
I watched someone weigh a '17 Thundercat on Youtube with 2 gallons fuel & ready to ride at 612 lbs.
gallon gas =6lbs x 2=12lbs
quart oil=1.9lbs x 3.25=6.2lbs
quart coolant=2.3lbs x 5.7 quarts=13.1lbs
quart gear oil=2lbs
That puts the Sidewinder about 580ish.......DRY

The winder is heavy up front no doubt, but its quite lite out back considering the battery is back there.
I agree the little turbo doo will be lighter, but the difference is same or LESS then the 800 was to the 1200. Which is a fair amt and can be felt. I just know my 129" feels pretty darn playful in tight Muskoka trail system when compared to a 1200 doo. I would even say it feels lighter then the 1200.
So I feel like my spec sheet is dead nuts accurate. 575lbs is no lightweight, and feels like less when riding. Doos have their heavy steering, need alot less carbide to steer, while I can run 8'' carbides on mine and still feels light(same 6.9s ski's on both sleds)

My apex 121 feels lighter than the 137 sw. Back end lots easier to pick up on the apex. Sw is heavy. But....I don't care...love it!Dan you and I have owned lots of sleds over the years and there is no way any Winder weighs under 600lbs dry. Maybe on the moon?

This is still funny...I think the G4 is an amazing chassis & i also believe this 900T is going to be a HUGE winner, but the G4 has THE UGLIEST front end i've ever seen besides the 1971 Mercury or the 1998 Polaris Storm.
Sometimes we ride ugly things because they are great rides.......................oh those 80's flashbacks

My Winder says 582 but it feels like 682 every time I used my dolly to move it especially compared to my 1200 Renegade. It feels heavier than any sled I have ever had . I know it was over 600 lbs dry I don't care what the spec sheet says. I've never complained about weight because it doesn't bother me and I know I can make any of the heavy 4 strokes handle light. Remember I'm the one who told you I felt the Winder handled lighter than the 1200 even though I knew it was much heavier.LOL....so now the Winder official spec sheet is wrong? But your doo is right?
