Just installed mine, had the sled idling for about 5 minutes, bars were warm, not hot by no means. Just wondering how warm they should get at an idle? The red light was on for max heat as the instructions state. Everyone says how hot they are when riding. Do they get warmer as engine rpm increases since the kit plugs into the existing harness? Just wondering that's all.

Yes, heat varies by RPM, just like when you're in normal mode. So if you're trail riding at a decent pace you're definitely going to notice the difference between normal and when the YH is on. I have the boost module as well, which kicks the YH up even another notch.

They will get hot... trust me.. TOO hot at times.

Yea mine has boost too, also got the thumb boost. Just need snow now. Been searching where I can order some of it, but have had no luck...
