I just picked up a set of 7.5 shaper bars from a ty member for $60 shipped. Thought that was a good price so I figured I try em..

for those who have them.. How do they work out?? Any extra drag from them??

ive been using them since they came out and i wont use anything but shaper bars now, i absolutely love em, its nothing to put 3000 miles on them and there will still be carbide left on them!

wow, good to know, i think i'm going to get a pair and try them

i have 6" shapers on my C&A's and love them so far i put 75 miles on them this weekend

I cant wait to get em installed. I have a junk set of 4" roetins installed now and they SUCK. Most of the carbide broke off the first time I crossed the rail road tracks.. Im hopeing for some better handling and less pushing in the corners with these.. as well as longer life.. The Roetins only have 400 miles on them and they are shot and I wasnt on the road hardly at all with them.. I hoped to get at least a little use out of em but I might as well of thrown them away as installed them....

I run 6" shapers on my Pilot 5.7s.....always loved my setup alot.

Dan

Ditto to this setup. This weekend I set up my Attak with 5.7 Pilots, 6"shaper's on the center and stock Doo bars on the outside... set the toe to 1/8" out and I have nothing but smiles!!

I'll keep my Slydog Powderhounds for (If) I run a lot of off trail.

The Pilots with Shapers carved so well that I took some weight off the skis. Now the steering effort is much less with better bite than I had with the Slydogs.
