Just picked up an 09 nytro yesterday with 2200 miles.
Split rail skis
Dragon fly clutch kit
Extra wheel kit
Medium Windshiel
Yamaheater
Pretty excited to get some seat time on this bad boy. Lots of good deals out there with the lack of snow in my area. Just need some studs.
114 down the middle with double backers. Little traction but mainly for braking. I never ride without studs and learned my lesson the hard way.

Watch the studding. Too many guys on here have pooched their fwd heat exchanger and cost them a motor.
Looks well taken care of. Have a blast!

is there something different about studding the nytro. Never had an issue with stud pull outs before, but anything is possible. And from what I hear there is plenty of room to stud these things.
Is it a torque issue, or install issue?

Mine has been studded from the get go. 4600 miles no issues. I do check and tighten my studs yearly. No guarantee of course, but better to be safe than sorry.

171 studs here on my XTX and love it.
Bought a used track with them and i've put on about 8,000km like this with no issues.
Get the proper backers for the single ply tracks - that's what mine are I think.
Some bend, I replace about 10 or so each year.
