I am heading up in February and staying at all season resort in Kalkaska just wondering if its a good place to base out of and what kind of trails there are kind of regret the trip now as i looked into some trails and there looks like a lot of road riding any info would be appreciated.thanks

It's been a few years since I've ridden in the Kalkaska area but I don't recall a lot of road riding once you get through town.

Trails are nice and well maintained. But our snow is not looking good this year. I’m worried the lower could be a washout this year.

I'm hearing there is some good snow from Kalkaska to Cadillac and it only gets better as you west.
