This is the right answer if you dont make 100,000+ a year!!
Skydog P.S. I do love the new sleds i will have one in 3-4 years!

It is winter's like this one that make me feel like an absolute idiot for sticking with this sport!!!!!! I have an 03 RX-1 with 4900 miles, a 00 SRX with 9000 miles, a 94 V-Max4 with 10,000 miles and a 93 Exciter with 6000 miles. I won't buy another sled until I wear each one of these sleds out. I must have $40-50,000 invested when you count the cost of the sleds, trailer, gear, tools, etc.. For that amount I could have built a really nice street rod that I can use several months of the year!!!! I love sledding but get really pissed everytime we get a crappy winter. We used to have a pretty good trail system in the catskill mountains, about an hour from me, with a club and groomer but the consistent mild winters in this region killed the support for the trails. If only snowmobilers could control the weather!!!!! Wouldn't it be great to ride until we got sick of it????

Fullback,
I live about 25 min. south of you. Dynarex lives about 15 min. from you in Stanfordville. We should get together, we could trade stories or at least piss and moan about this winter!!

I agree Jim, I was gonna buy an 06 too, but with this winter NO WAY!! Dealer told me 4 grand to deal on a 05 including tax. I have 03 rx with 4k thought that was pretty good? He told me that yammy will be upset with them for not ordering many 06 sleds this year. he bought 60 last year and still had 45 to sell. that;s alot of inventory to hold all summer! good luck. Honk

I think alot of dealers are going to have holdovers. Not just Yamaha either. My dealer is almost giving them away. He still has a couple of 04 left too.
