Posted for guys who want extra fuel. 1.5 gallon tank of extra fuel. Nice kit easy install here are my notes:

Apex LTX rear cooler prevents all mounting bolts to be used
- I was able to use 4 of 7 mounting bolts on the rear of the tunnel
- the tank straddled the rear bumper so I supported that area with a 6 in pc of slide runner to keep the mounting snug. ( Could add extra sheet metal to tunnel) but might need to get hands on bumper if stuck so this way bumper is still usable?
- seems stable but time will tell
- ran in skid doesn't seem to be any heat issues from exhaust

first time out I will not fill and check for heat issue before filling with gas
Tank height is 4.5 in, sit's back from pipes 3 in on each corner
Remember this is on an LTX so SE's, XTX or MTX will be differant
Here are some pics

They make a 90 degree turn-out for your exhaust, if it becomes an issue.
Looks good, nice install, and a gallon and half more gas, is a good thing. ;)!

Fill that the first time you try it. The fuel will keep the plastic from getting too hot.

looks good blue. Hopefully santa got me a kolpin fuel pack for christmas. we will see. keep us posted on how it works out for you. please & thank you

tank

When I installed mine I was only able to use 4 of the supplied bolts as well because of some angled sheetmetal from the rear running forward in the bottom side of the tunnel. I put on almost 1000 miles with it bolted in like this and never had an issue with it becoming loose or falling off. I wouldn't worry about it so long as you used the nyloc nuts or double nutted the bottom side.
Great little tank and can save you some hastle or someone on the trail when gas stations are few and far between or closed unknowingly.
