Lake run video

450 miles so far. Belt runs nice and cool. I've got 144 studs and that's it. I did 6 passes on the lake, about 1/4 mile wot. My sled has had 0 issues. I broke it in easy. I had 7,000 miles on a tuned 2012 F1100T so i'm familiar with this chassis. You can't drive it like a two stroke or it will eat belts.
Not sure I understand, how do you drive a two smoke differently and eat belts? Merry Christmas!

We have a 2012 that you couldn't keep a belt on .Ended up making a td 400+hp hill climb sled out of it .We even had the coolers fall out of it 1 time riding in maine. The coolers falling out was the end of its trail days .

What belt was that with?

Tuner skis? Put a set of single runner skis on and gain 5 mph I bet..also..these machines will mph better with miles on them...

Factory belt with easy break in

On and off the throttle aggressively. You have to ease in and out of the throttle. I found because of the wide power band the sled was just as fast on the trail because the track would just spin more with more throttle. This is just a suggestion as it worked for me on the Cat.

My 2012 was completely unreliable. I had probably $5,000 in warranty claims. I seriously considered passing on the Yamaha because of that. I did like the chassis and the turbo power is addicting. I'm hoping 5 model years helped improve the reliability.

Ok that makes sense. I haven't had a chance to drive mine yet but from what I have read they are silky smooth and very electric like as far as the power comes on. Sadly our Christmas present here is rain, we had a good start.
