Last year as some know I bought a 2010 Nytro RTX. I wanted to boost it for the trails of Wisconsin, and the U.P, and make it so it could handle like a Nytro should. I am glad to say thanks to Ulmer Racing/Allen that last year I had more miles on any sled I have ever owned in one year with just minor tuning here and there. All in all minus an Ultra Q exhaust that went bad on me, she ran great. Without a lot of time to test and tune with my schedule, this was th eonly way possible to build for me. It helped me a lot to be shopping for parts on here, Snowest, and Ebay to save a good chunk on this build also. Also Timing was everything. I even bought the blower before I owned the sled, just cause of the deal.

Sled 2010 RTX Orange and black. Drove all the way to Mason city Iowa to pick her up. Only 700 miles on sled at pickup

This year I will have done to finish her up:

All shocks revalved front and back for my riding style, and weight. Need her to squat and dig, but not bottom out. Then adjust suspension a tad
Replacing blown out Ultra Q with Hindle slip on silencer
Power commander ignition module
Re-dyno her and fine tune it to see how much we can get out of it at 92 octane
Add a steering relocator
Change rear light to a larger LED light. (easier to see under the tank then)
Usual maintenance, oil change, lube, check bogies, and hyfax

Very nice! What kind of mileage were you getting with the blower setup

I ride pretty hard, but not as Crazy as a Jo Blo, or Superman LOL and I am witihin 1-1.5 gallons of the other N/A Apex's in our group. I start looking 90 miles to a tank, and have taken it to 118 miles to a tank with about .5-.75 to spare

Thanks for the compliments guys. I love the way she came out, and it just feels even better after the last build went sour with two other builders on my 08 RTX.

I knew you would like a more trail oriented build and with Ulmer doing it you know its done right. 4 years later just another season for my SC apex haven't even thought of looking at the engine. Stretched mine out, made some gear changes, etc and Ulmer found 30 MORE track hp in the clutching. Dude is awesome and the sled is borderline insane (to me absolute insantity to others) and never skips a beat, just runs.

+10000000000000 for Allen!

Just switched to the trail tank for more of a stock look
