Freakin main jet fell out in pto side carb. I cant believe it. A few years ago I broke off a main jet so I have been leary of putting them in too tight since. Too bad that most likely wont help anyone else who is having the lean prob.

I also jetted up to 142.5. Ran the sled in the field by my house and it ran better than ever. Perfect sound from idle to top end. Now I will have to go run it hard at altitude. Havent put the WB on yet, waiting for a the NGK gauge to arrive.

Im hoping that my lean cond is solved between the billet carb caps, jetting up and running all 4 main jets... :drink:

That's good news Freak. You had the first MCX that I had heard of that was having a lean problem in the midrange..... I wouldn't want you to encroach on Benders teritory! ;)!

Freak - Are you running the MCXpress rear mount Mitsubishi 16T turbo? If you do please post your AFR readings.

Yes I am for now. Will be changing over to a larger version of the 16T next week (19t.) New gauge is supposed to be here today. Got the Innovate gauge but decided to use the AFX instead since I run straight 110. I will post results after this weekend.

Had a little trouble building big boost today. I think its a traction issue Ive been having while trying to keep the nose down. At high boost there was some lean popping although it was much less than I have had. Gauge read 13.6 at WOT. But when I ran the boost controller down to 14lbs my gauge read 12.5. Pretty good but still need bigger mains. Im thinking at 20+ lbs I will be over 150 mains. Idle is fine with the 20 pilots and midrange is acceptable. Idles at around 14.1 and it drops from there.

Yeah I think you are definately in need of bigger mains.
