Did a LED install for a fellow TY member.
Started with some 20ga TEW wiring. Went top the local electronics store and bought a water proof switch and various sizes of heat shrink tubing and then off to the hardware store to pick up 1/4"OD clear vinyl tubing and some clips. Spent some time mocking up the lights and then determined the best route for the wiring.
Once all that has finalized I started making wiring harnesses.
1. Using a pull wire I fed it thru a length of tubing. Once thru I soldered a pair of wires to it and then pulled them thru.
2 All connections were soldered and then heat shrink tubing over top to protect the connection. Some junctions received multiple layers depending on the location on the sled.
3. The wire for the running board lights were fed along the small channel in the heat exchangers.
4. The rear tunnel light's wire runs along the channel in the extension.
5. I crossed the tunnel for the rear lights under the seat along the muffler's heat shield. The wire is protected with a piece of metal brake line.
6. The front lights tie together in the nose cone then run along the upper frame.
7. 12 volts came from battery power located at the fuse block. Used a mini waterproof fuse holder to protect the system in case of a short.
8. Brought all the harnesses together at the top of the tank where the switch is to be mounted.
9. Install the tank cover and mounted the switch.
10. Flipped the switch and turned off the garage lights.

Nice job Mr. Steiner!

Just FYI for all considering this mod. You get get a key fob style remote control to turn the lights on/off for $15 on eBay.

Well it went like this. "For a guy that powder coats your skid sure looks like #$%&*." 20 minutes later it was out and being torn down for powder coating along with other various parts. :D
Then it be best advised not to have you over, you may be a bad influence :hide::jump:
