License low side panel ?

THe lower side panel that says Yamalube and GYTR is were I would like to put my MN license decal and custom numbers.

Has anyone taken that decal off. It appears to be one solid decal for the whole section. Is it really one peice and can I take it off?

Seems and feels weird to me for some reason.

Yup - I took mine off and put my license sticker on that side panel. I did not like the advertising. Just use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm in up a little and it should come off nicely.

We put ours right behind the upper A-Arm's. Its nice place for the license plate sticker, tucked away nicely yet still legal .

could you just peel off the yamalube one and leave the other or is it a whole decal? I don't have my sled home at the moment to go look at!!

If your in MN, you'll "technically" need to have it, in front of and just below, the headlight. Most of the time it will be over looked as long as it's on the sled, but I have had some DNR officers tell me that would not be legal if not in the correct location.

Yea I was looking on line could not find the description of desired location. I remember something like that, 'front half of sled ......' But I figure sense I had my Apex and two Vectors low on the side with no trouble in 8+ years I will push it again and put it there.

I'm not trying to be a negative nancy, but it sucks getting pulled over for that when you clearly have it on there and they're hustling you about it... eats up your ride time.
