LB, PIAA regular wattage Xenon( 60/55 ) bulbs do put out more light than the stockers. Used one on my 98 SRX ( single bulb light )and it made quite a difference. They are more money but I think they're worth it. The RX-1 has two bulbs and works very well in stock form. I wouldn't risk using higher wattage bulbs in it as they're really not necessary. I think you will be very happy if you just put in a couple of PIAA 60/55 bulbs. Even with the stock RX-1 lights some of my buddies complain about the shadow it causes in front of them when you come up close behind them. I'd hate to hear them bitch if I had a couple of 100 watt bulbs in it. Stick with the 60/55 in a quality brand light and you will be happy. Too many cheap China imports out there. I've even heard of bootleg PIAA's, so make sure to buy them from a reputable dealer.

all I can say about the 100 watt bulb's in that last post is I'M ALWAYS OUT IN FRONT. I know my buddies are not going to complain about a light behind them being to bright, and there is not a HUGE difference like everybody thinks. It is a different kind of brightness with a different kind of color light. I think the 100/55 look great and am damn glad I went with them.
besides, get what YOU want and what makes you feel good, that's what I did. I was in no way telling everybody to get what I got, just get whatever makes you happy.
