Hey guys I have been away for a while. Work is taking way to much time.............boy I wish it wasn't so.

I had a weird experience last night. Started the sled let it warm up, got out on the lake, noticed no lights, then in less than 1/2 mile they come on. Any thoughts.

I wouldn't have a clue were to start to investigate lights that now work, on why they came on late.

I will go out today and see if there is some error code or something.

Have a great day all, My son and I are going out for essentially our first ride, several little buzzes around of less than 10 miles but should get some miles today!!

I had this happen to my Attak when I had it, if I remember it was one of the relays going bad, can't tell which one since I don't have it anymore...

Happened once last year on my Vector. Exact same thing. About 1/2 minute after starting lights finally came on. Solved problem by buying Apex for this year. Seriously, carry an extra relay or two with you at all times. I believe all four in the left footwell are the same and they are not that spendy. Seems to be a rash of this now that temps have cooled off.

Thanks guys, rode for several hrs yesterday always had lights, but I think for the starting and now light issues I will get a spare relay and have it and a description of which relay is which circuit in the trunk.

Thanks

Had this happen only on real cold mornings on my rx-1. My guess is the connection/relay is frozen. Every time it happened, within 1 minute the lights would come on. I think once that circuit heats up, your back in business. Never had any issues the rest of day after the initial start.
