Lightweight Battery Pics For Those Interested

TW;
As soon as I get it in the shop to start putting it back together I will take some pictures. I have the figures written down, I will look at them to see what weighed what. I just remember that I lost 19 lbs with what I did. I used the original plastic cap that sits over the battery to sit the new battery in. I just turned it upside down and put the new little battery in it with some foam around it to take up the extra room. I took the tool box out and set it in place of that and just zip tied the cap to the bulkhead to see if that was a good place for it before I made anything permanent. I then used the oribinal rubber strap to hold the battery in the cap. It all worked great for the 2 months I used it. I don't know if I'm going to do anything else or not it worked so well. I rode over some really nasty wooped out roads, jumped off of some huge cornices and of course rolled it a few times, and the battery never even twitched.
Back to the 19 lbs. With the removal of the tool box and tools. That was some of the weight too. Now I carry my tools in my backpack along with my lightweight jumper cables.

Thanks Silverstreak. I'll watch for the pics. I may run the KN filters too this year. Have you seen any dyno reports with them?
