limiter strap question

Have you guys made any progress with getting the Attack to "bite" so that you can actually turn it?

I have about 350 miles on mine and have been very unhappy with the handling. Dealer talked me into double 4" carbides which helped a bit but not nearly enough. Personally I think I should have gone for the 8" but he felt it may be too much.

They played with my limiter strap so that it would allow the maximum pressure on the front end which helped a bit as well. I guess that would mean that they pulled it all the way to the top. Correct?

On my former sled (99 XC 700 SP) I played with all of the adjustements myself until I had it dialed in. Will do the same on this sled but I wanted to get some miles on it before I really started messing with it.

Being that I am in Green Bay and we have no snow I am going to have to wait a few weeks until I get back to the UP. Just would like to know if anybody is making signifigant progress?

It will not corner like your 99 did. A 121 might have, but the 136 just won't.

If you want to adjust your limiter strap just put a 2x4 block under the front of skid, no need to lift sled or hoist it up. The 2x4 causes the front to collopase(place it in front of the bogie wheels), your straps will have plenty of free play to remove bolts and readjust. I would suggest moving only 1 hole at a time so you can get a feel whether it's working or not. JMO.

accobra66..........I have my limiter strap pulled up all the way and a set of 6" Woody's Doolys. Although I only have 125 miles on my Attak, I am happy with the "bite" and the sled does not dart at all.
