The CFR 800's run 118-120 on radar, with the 1000's running 121-124.........so if you are running with them or beating them, you have a 120MPH Apex, my understanding is those are few and far between. The 2010-11 CFR's are freaks, they have incredible motors and very long legs !!!

For sure the CRF 800 really works. Like I said, it would kill me from a dead stop, mostly due to traction but from a 10mph rolling start up to 80mph I could pull 1-2 lenghts and stay there. Not saying I have the fasted sled out there by any means but I must say I was surpised that I could even come close to hanging with the CRF.
Tried mine with a 09 crossfire (stock) pulled ahead on the start and never seen it untill I turned around at the end.

Just raced last night on a snow covered lake . My apex xtx vs 2011 crossfire 800 ho. From dead stop we r dead even till 60 or 70 after that i start to leave him behind. They r fast but i think the e tec renagade gives me more compitision.

I have a 05 RX1 with clutching and air box mod. I have always wanted to run a F1000 for grins. Last weekend I hit 117 on GPS and my sled is geared down. I think it had a little more in it. I believe the run was less than a half mile. So I don't think a stock F1000 would be that far ahead of me.
One of our guys had a SX 780 big bore at about 165 hp and was surprised with the outcome. First race I had about6-8 sleds on him. Second was much closer with only a couple. I think he needed more heat in his pipes to make good power. Any how I was happy with the RX 1Ton.

I had a f1000 all done up with full speedwerx exhaust y pipe vforce reeds cluched boondocker so on and so on. I gpsed it on a snow covered lake. I held it pinned til i was not getting any more mph on the gps. Top speed was 108mph gps. thats it. My bone stock 2005 much z 1000 did 109mph gps. And my 2007 attak 114mph gps. So those 2 smokes just cant hang with the 4 cylender beasts.

My conditions were close to perfect. It was a hard packed road with a skiff of snow.
I hit speeds of 113mph last year on big wide snow covered trail in the U.P. The speeds that you listed with the F1000 and Mach Z seems low. Thought they were faster than that.
Last weekend my other friend, on a lake ported SRX was also behind me.
When he changed tracks a couple years ago he with with a 1.25 Ripsaw track with no studs. He is also geared down. He is not as far of the pace as you would think with no studs.
I do think his sled is faster than mine if he had studs. I also think the BB sled, that we now know is a Hauck 760BB has more in it. He is working with Hauck to get the clutches dialed in.
Not much more that I can do to my sled, but I am pretty happy with it as it is.

You had a slow F1000. My buddies 2007 in completely stock form ran 119 on a plowed road. Did you have an 08?

I can tell you that AC's clutching is screwed up....takes a bit to get them right...
