Don't skimp on the loctite when replacing parts on your sled. Yamaha's lock nuts are junk and even if there's a cotter pin to prevent the bolt from falling out use loctite to keep things tight. I replaced the subframe on my Nytro a couple of years ago and obviously forgot to loctite the bolt that goes through the steering pivot arm. My steering got extremly loose while on a ride and I limped it home to find out the nut backed off against the cotter pin and because I ran it loose it egged out the hole in the subframe. A little weld, grinding and plenty of loctite and it's ready to go again. Unfortunately I had to remove the subframe to do the repair. last year I had the upper a-arm bolts loosen and almost fall out while riding.

I had the same problem with mine. When I pulled the bolt out it was covered in grease.
