When I picked up my XTX I thought I was looking for a 1200 Gade. I knew I wanted "long track" and 4-stroke so around here the Doo is the default answer, until I sat on one. Whatever it is that I like about the XS and XP chassis isn't right on the XR chassis, it just doesn't fit me. I looked at a new non-current Nytro on a whim...it fit. I did my research and this sled suits me. Figure out what sled fits you, research the shortcomings and the fixes, then make an informed decision.
