Five of us are coming up the beginning of January. We normally stay down toward Richland/Redfield area or at the Ridgeview in Lowville. Just looking for something different at a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

How is the ridge view on prices???

I live in Cranberry Lake and we have plenty of great riding right out my front door but my wife and I usually take a little trip somewhere on the sleds around our anniversary (feb 22) The last few years we have gone to deer valley and they have some great riding and new cabins (built in 04) with radiant heat flooring that is great for only $60/night.

I was thinking of trying something different this year though... thought I might try heading to the tug for a few days...

Me and about a dozen freinds stayed at Deer Valley last year for the first time . Absolutely loved it . Nothing like stepping out your door and having coffee with a dozen deer .I just couldnt get over the deer all over the place . Food was great and the trails were awsome . definitly going back this year .

The Ridge View is located just outside of Lowville and has access to the trail system. We stay there every year for the SNIRT run and occasional for snowmobiling. I prefer the south side of the hill better because it normally has less traffic on weekends. Saturday night prime rib at Ceder Pines is great.
