We are looking for someone that has an '08-'09 Nytro MTX that has the stock running boards still installed, a clean sled and wants upgraded running boards. All we ask for in return are pictures for our business website!

We are a small shop near the Cascade Mountains of Oregon. We have had our own Arctic Cat and Polaris Running boards selling since last summer, but want to also have them for you Yamaha guys. Our boards are 1/8"-5052 aluminum but also have a 3/16" layer of UHMW plastic over the top of them to shed snow and keep the boards nice and clean. We have been running them on sleds for almost 3 years now, just not on Yamaha's.

What we are looking for: We will send you a free set of running boards to install on your '08-'09 MTX but also need your help. We need pictures during and after installation. Our only requirements are that you are a half-way mechanically inclined person, have basic tools (an air rivet gun for SS rivets, sheet metal cutting tools, etc.), have a nice clean sled, and some good sunshine or lighting for some good pictures for the website. We would also need you to have a good digital camera and not just a cell phone for pictures.

To give you an idea of what you are getting into, here is the webpage of the Arctic Cat boards for more info:

Here are pictures of the Yamaha Nytro MTX Boards:

Here are pictures of our boards vs. a very popular brand name board actually sitting side-by-side on M sleds. You decide which one does a better job in the deep powder..........

Your pictures will go under the Yamaha page on our business website. If you are interested, please PM me and I will get back to you. Thanks for the help!

Man those look sweet. If I owned a Nytro MTX I'd be all over this. Free running boards! Come on guys, someone go for this!

You should be getting an email or message from one of the guys I ride with. I pointed him to your thread over on SW.

That is a great offer!

Wish you had this going two months ago, and for the RTX also (The boards are the same). I converted them to 2010 boards with wrp tuff boards.

I'll volunteer my services if you need a short track sled!!! ;)!

Sent you a PM

Thanks for all the response to this post guys. After narrowing it down to about 3, we have made our decision and have already been in contact with the individual. Again, we appreciate your PM's! These should be available very soon on the website.

Hey Aaron, save me the phone call, You said to give you till the end of Sept. to see if you have the xtx/2010 and newer mtx board inserts done. So here is me calling LOL.

How is it coming.

Kirk

Kirk, I know I told you by the end of September, but we are still not finished with them yet. We have been in the process of getting into a larger shop and honestly have just not had enough hours in a day lately. I really apologize for the delay. Just keep checking the website and when they are ready they will be on the Yamaha Running Board page. Thanks for the interest and don't give up on us...........

We picked Clatla (Curt) as the one to do the install on these boards. He did a great job, and we appreciate all his feedback and time. We have made the couple necessary changes and will have these available within the next few days on the website. The pictures are up and running on the site and we are looking forward to some of you Yamaha guys getting these out there on the snow. We are having a hard time keeping the Arctic Cat and Polaris ones on the shelf and are anxious to move some Yamaha boards. Thanks again to all you guys who responded to this thread. You can check them out here:

Plans to do anything for the XTX? With gear I am at 300lbs and you can really feel the boards move around as soon as you step back out of the foot wells. An open board with braces running up the tunnel would be a great seller IMO...

I installed a pair of these running boards on a buddys 2007 Polaris RMK some weeks ago. Easy install, and great quality product.

We were out on a testride yesterday, and he had definitaly not any more snow/ ice buildup than i had on my WRP tuff boards.

Great product guys ;)!
