Been thinking of getting a Phazer, and in my area, there are a few low mileage '07 GT's for sale, and haven't seen any newer ones.
Any reason not to consider an '07, and what would be considered a decent price for the '07-'08 models?
I notice the Phazer has a 7 gallon fuel tank, on the average, what is the range on them?
Also, noticed on Yamaha's website that tunnel protectors (for use when studding the track) are $135, anything special about these?

07's actually had bigger tanks than the 09's. make sure all the updates were done to the sled and all will be good with an o7. take the serial number to a dealer and have them run it for updates. that shud tell you what you want to know.

Yea on my 09 rtx i am able to ride about 5 hours and still have a quarter tank, im aggressive not exactly worried about saving a few bucks on gas.

On my 07 I easily make 100mi on a tank even when riding in UP or grade.I agree get the updates and year doesnt matter.Suspension does though so decide before you buy if you are going to stick with Yamaha shocks or go aftermarket. If sticking with Yamaha get a sled with rebuildable shocks.

got 120 miles to a tank with 1 bar left on the gauge. i filled up & only put in 5 or 6 gallons. so i had 2 gallons left when my light came on.
you don't really need the tunnel protectors (running a small length stud) but you can easily mount up old hyfax way cheaper than $135.
