Looking to buy an 06-07 apex, and have a few questions

They don't say if Ypipes or bushings were changed. Also I'd stay away from Aftermarket things on them like the Ski Doo skid. Usually they are Jerry rigged and could be trouble. Find a low mileage and low price close to stock OEM stuff and offer them less. Then you'll have a deal. Those seemed high for the age and mileage etc.

I hear ya Capt.

People hear 11K on my Apex and they are either shocked, or they waive it off as no big deal. The latter being people who know about these machines and how long they last. You'll get your 4200 as soon you get some snow... hell, 4200 is less than what the dealer offered me for trade-in on mine!

Did you end up selling yours?

I really want a new sled. And its gonna make it worse this weekend as Yamaha is having their 2014 demo days here... But for the price of one of those I could have 2 reliable 2007ish 4 strokes. One for me and one for the woman.

Sorry I haven't gotten posting reply emails from this post. Anyway.

No I haven't sold mine. I was willing to take $3800.. It has been sitting for a month in my garage with temps down below zero and I gave it the monthly start up and it fired right up and held a nice idle. Battery held well too.
I've had one call on it..funny strange...must be my market here.

I know about the money as well. If they weren't abused you can save and ride for many miles on them. Except for the power steering they basically will give the same ride. My wifes got a LTX Vector. Definitely not as nice a ride as this R1.
