can anyone offer sugestions or info about sloppy tie rods and/ or bushings . with the front end raised, no binding, but in the snow it is impossible to steer, thanks

Is it actually loose steering or is it darting? I havent heard of any loose steering components on the RX chassis, Alot of posts about darting though. Although with all the joints in the steering its amazing you can steer them at all.

burmad69, oh yes,it darts like crazy too. i have been following the posts about that problem !! ,i just thought there was a lot of play in all those tie rods & connecting rods & was wondering if yamaha or aftermarket sold a more solid end. I picked this sled up at auction in late january, it is stock,with some updates[ 1.25 RIPSAW] Yamaha was always known for their build quaility, but i could never afford one before!! i love the power & feel of this sled, and am determined to spend the summer fixing the obvious problems. i too ,am use to a cats effortless steering & thought i would start there. any help is always appreciated
