Running a sled with a cracked pipe do any harm to the sled? My loss of top end RPM could be caused by a cracked pipe but it is to fricken cold to do anything about it right now. The sled isn't any louder, would it be safe to run it if it has a crack in the pipe somewhere?

Ok, dropped the suspension & this is what I found, the pipe that joins the "Y" pipes together, the last pipe before the exhaust pipe, has a crack where it joins the two pipes together, probably cracked 3/4 the way around. Being that far back from where the exhaust exits the motor, would that actually cause me to loose the 500 rpm's?
Also, it is a Excell exhaust, what material is it made of, can it be welded?

Put the sled back together & went for good ride today. The cracked pipe was definitely the reason for the loss of RPM's, gained 700rpm's with the crackless pipe, wuhooooo
Didn't think a crack that far back would have that much impact on rpm's, hmph, guess I was wrong, lol!
