Just got back from riding with my Bro, his 2012 Doo 600 rear shock blew out so he took my 07...the guy fell in love with it, I did some easy mods, Hygear revalve, 13mm sway bar, Fett Bros canisters on the floats and Kimpex Arrow skis, this thing is a great sled. He liked the ride as much as his Doo and thought the Nytro power was better in the mid. This Pro-Active rear got a real bad wrap because of poor valving..with the Hygear valve it works great.
Can't beat these sleds.

Cant agree with you more

its funny how people like to crap talk these sleds because they are "so heavy" but really if your stuck, wearing gear, in the cold and dark, it doesnt matter if your sled is 300 pounds or 700 pounds its still a heavy biiiiitch, the neysayers are always the ones who have never had the pleasure of riding a Yam 4 stroke, ill take my older yam over any other brand new sled any day of the week!

I thought once I got the 09 I'd never enjoy the 07 again...2 different animals but both fun rides. I'd love to see the 1049 Nytro tuned in the Vector with the dual shock and floats up front but Yamaha decided to jump in with AC. For what it's worth the FX chassis is so close to perfect I can't believe they canned it and didn't just improve the front end? Hope to see some new all Yamaha sleds soon.
