Nytro vs. 1200 Ski-Doo

He's still running his dealership in Byron, MN. I don't think he's on TY at all. His right hand man, Tim, quit awhile ago. Tim was Da Man...hated to see him go. Anyway, Tim developed and ran most of the online sales, etc. So that's maybe why you haven't heard much about Jerry in the past few months. He's rebuilt his website and his new guy is just getting things figured out after Tim's departure. Two things I like about bringing my sled to Fix...1) Jerry does the majority of the wrenching and I know I can trust him and 2) He can make a sled go fast ;)!

Tim was an BS'er and an lyer... Jerry was smart to get rid of him...

Here is what I have found. It is all about clutching, gearing, and suspension suspension suspension setup. My bud has a clutched and piped 1200x with 1000 miles on it. In 1000 ft or so he beat his dads clutched, piped and pc5 1200 doo, my 136 apex gt with yamacharger gearing, and clutch, and a rx1 stock. This guy is lighter and he had his suspension set loose while the others set real firm for bumps. He did a wheelie about 40' out even. His dad said he was going to look at that sled when his son wasn't around. Because it pissed him off that they have the same sled and he got smoked. Now on the lake me and the rx1 both killed him after a 1000 ft. Not a chance when his sled maybe hits 100

But, unless you are a lake runner, then its really dismissle... Very rare do I ever get over 100 mph in the trail. Maybe 105. On a road, sure it will roll. On a hard lake, yes... But, that's about 3-4 times a year. Even on a roll on at 30-50mph, my sled pulls very hard.

If you run lakes all the time, then you 3 choices. A Turbo Cat, A aftermarket Turbo DOO or a after Market Turbo Yamaha.

xtx vrs apex

Last year,my buddy had his nytro all winter in my garage along side my apex, and anytime we lined up,his big track could get me out of the hole, than i would just walk on by,my apex never ran faster than 112 gps on hardpack snow, and his same day, same snow, best 101-102 144 trackx1.75 unstudded. Just saying.
