Barn of Parts soft start spring. That’s a primary spring not the secondary.

The Schmidt bros setup (comfort clutch) works much better than just replacing the spring alone. It includes a softer primary spring and uses smaller roller. Reduced roller diameter is the key if you want to do it right.

I'm running the Schmidt Brothers comfort clutch spring and quiet kit on my 2016 MTX 162 and it is a great improvement. dropped the engagement rpm down to around 3000 rpm.

Yamaha has a soft spring as well if you have a dealer near you and don't want to wait on shipping.
