I need to replace my lower A arm ball joints on my 09 XTX. The last time I did this I was able to purchase a kit from NCI North Coast Innovations unfortunately they no longer sell this kit. I think the ball joints themselves are fine I just need to replace the bronze ring that sits in the lower A arm. On the Yamaha parts diagram it doesn't show this part so I'm assuming it is pressed into the lower A arm at the factory but I don't want to buy new lower A arms. Any suggestions?

Mountain tech , it's a no-brainer. If you have to buy all the factory ball joints add it up . Then price the mountain kit . Then if you ever need ball joints they r cheap..

Right if I have to replace the entire lower A arms I would go with Mountain Tech but if somebody out there sells just the bronze rings that the ball joint sits in I'd prefer to go that route because like I said the ball joints themselves are fine so the cost would be minimal if I can just get the rings.

Do you happen to know the part number or where you got them?

I need to change my ball joints as well. I'm changing all 4, and was wondering if there was something better out there. Different a-arms are not an option at this point in time.

Gotcha. Well then you end up with the same OEM non adjustable front end. For an extra $300 you end up getting a +2" forward fully adjustable front end with wear items that are very rugged and very inexpensive to replace should they ever need replacing.
