sled was at dealers the other day on warranty. finished a trip & i have a rattle coming from exhaust near donut/gas tank area. did not have time to investigate myself before next trip. dealer says it's the lower heat shield. they tell me yami does not repair these under warranty or at all. i asked what do they do ?
dealer tells me yami recommends removing this lower heat shield. i have 2 issues here. 1) the shield was there for a reason ? 2) dealer tells me they did not remove because it means dropping skid & i should do this myself at a a later date.
yami has been good to me on some warranty but this kinda baffled me.
anybody else have heat shield issues under warranty conditions or any input on the issue ?

if there talking about heat shield that covers up the donut area i would not run without it, you have to remove gas tank if that's the one.
