So you got a LTX?
No his current sled is an 04 viper his signature says spring order 2017 viper he is trying to make up his mind! nice thing is he has a full season to do it and can surely meet up on a Yamaha demo ride or make contact with a few of us in his area and try both before opening the old coin purse on the wrong sled!So you got a LTX?

I ride Martinique to Munising regular. I'd be happy to let him take my LTX for a couple miles. I know how hard it was for me to decide Apex vs Viper, then which version of the Viper. This community's help with that decision was invaluable. I only hope I can pay it forward.
Well I happen to have 2 XTX's that he could try but he will need a training course on the 14, 1st and a life insurance update! Oh and maybe a permission slip from the wife?

No still riding the 04 viper. Wife and I made a promise that after new trucks were paid off we would get new Sleds. That will be spring 2017. I'll be getting 2 so no permission from the wife needed lol! We ride 144" Vipers now so not worried about length just skid. Coupled vs uncoupled. I've been leaning toward the 141 with hygear linkage. Just want to make sure the wife will be able to deal with uncoupled skid on trail. She's a good rider but I don't want her to have to work at it too hard in the trails. She's not much for off trail but will when the group does. Thanks for the offer guys may have to meet up depending in where the snow is.

Or maybe à 137 for her and 141 for me. Hmmm!
so no permission from the wife needed lol! .
What I meant there was the 14 is going to be 320 hp 660 ft drag sled and will be back from Ulmer in a couple of weeks. That's why you need a permission slip for that one.

May have to do that. I'm there every weekend I'm not working (work every 3erd) all year. Don't even have to be a riding weekend maybe just chat over some cold beers and Vipers. I've seen yours on here and they are very nice.

I went back and forth LTX DX v. STX DX a million times as well. So ordered the LTX but the STX DX came from Yamaha and I am happy. Think I would have been either way. So I let God decide and as usual it worked out. LOL

UPDATE: As stated earlier, this heavy front end feel was due to the Tuner 3 skies. Put a set of Cat ProClimb skies on with Bergstrom triples and its back to normal, at least normal for me. When the going gets really deep, its 8" SlyDogs time, these steer nice and easy also. The 1.6 IceCobra is the best ALL AROUND do everything track for my " 906 Special " I think I smell SNOW.This 2016 LTX is the HEAVIEST feeling, carbide digginest front end I have EVER HAD. Sure hope I made the right choice. Coming off the XTX type chassis, this 137 has just a stupid amount of front end bite. Cannot imagine in my wildest dream, this front end pushing. Been running multiple ways through my head on how to get this thing to turn better, MEANING EASIER. Seeing as I have not even ridden the thing yet, maybe I should reserve judgment till after its Shake Down cruise. Just sitting here in the garage, this thing feels like a handlebar snapper.

I have an ltx with 1.6 ice cobra and couldn't be happier, IMO perfect blend for on/off trail.UPDATE: As stated earlier, this heavy front end feel was due to the Tuner 3 skies.
