I am new to this site and I am thinking of buying a 05 Rage and installing a M10. I was wondering if anyone has done it, has pictures they can post, and tell me if it is worth spending the money and time to do it? Thanks. Great site!

Have you ridden the sled yet???
I am very happy with the rear suspension on my 05 Rage, My previous sled was an 05 Polaris 600 Classic with M-10. I feel the 05 Rage rides as well or better than the Classic.
I would not spend the money for an M-10 until I had some serious miles on the Rage and calibrate the suspension for your riding style and weight.

I am not going to start a war with you Phantom but if you think your proaction rides better than an M-10 you had it set up wrong.I had a 600 Classic M-10.a viper M-10 and put 700miles on my 05 rage proaction and ripped that out and put in an M-10.On smooth trails they all ride great but when it gets ruff theres nothing like a properly set up M-10!

I don't know if you know anything about Tug Hill but we have a camp there and ride out of there exclusively. On a weekend afternoon the trails get real rough (3-4ft mogules). When I was waiting for my Rage to come last year I was reading on this site about the complaints with the Pro-Action and thought "If it's that bad I'll just put an M-10 in it" Granted witout a doubt the M-10 is the best suspension there is but the difference IMO is not worth the $1,200.00 - $1,800.00 price tag. I put over 2700 miles on the Rage in 30 days last season and the only thing I did was turn the rear clicker up one notch. Maybe it's my weight (175 lbs) but the Pro-Action did fine by me.
All I'm saying is ride the sled yourself before changing anything it may surprise you.

Dont spend money untill you ride it. you might love it. you might want the m-10, But why do it untill you ride it.

Thanks guys. I will hold off on the M10 for now. I was just thinking of trying to make the sled more like the 06 offering with the Mono RA. Sound like the 05 rear skid does very well on its's own. Thanks again

I ride alot of bumpy rough trails with mine 2-3 ft mogels with one after another at 75-80+mph for miles on end ..I dont know about m-10 but it looks kinda high up and that would tell me it might be alittle tippy in the turns where my hugs them now so I know I would not change for now I'm very pleased!

I had the pro-action in my last sled. It was a 121" set up and it was ok. In the Rage(136" setup) it is a much better preforming skid. I love it and have no problem with it at all. The pro-action seems to work the best in longer skids for some reason.
